Bike photo shooting schedule for July 22 and 23

It's going to be a scorcher everywhere this weekend. Good time to ride to the Coast. I'll be shooting from about 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., primarily on Woodside Road east of Alice's Restuarant. Possibly south on Skyline earlier in the day.

The Bayview Rockets are having their poker run this Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. at Peninsula Harley Davidson in Redwood City. Lots of eats and fun.

There's a close association between our mechanical steeds and horses. I'm told by Buckaroo Bob Weber, who is a member of the Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County as well as the San Mateo HOG Chapter, that bikers are more than welcome at the 11th Darn-near Annual Woodside Western Music & Cowboy Poetry Show ($15) this Saturday. Barbecue ($10) served at 5 p.m. and performance at 7 p.m. Bob, who is also a cowboy performer, says there will be some special parking for motorcycles. Sourdough Slim and Belinda Gail are headliners. 521 Kings Mountain Road in Woodside. You can get to it from Skyline or Woodside Road. It's a twister. www.mpsmc.org

The MotoGP motorcycle races at Laguna Seca this weekend will draw a lot of bikers. Maybe one of these years I'll get a chance to attend. http://www.redbullusgrandprix.com

Next Saturday, July 29, the $100,000 Poker Run Tournament run will be coming up La Honda Road for a stop at Alice's and then south on Skyline down to Boulder Creek. The tournament starts at 9 a.m. at Cameron's Inn, the great little English pub at 1410 Cabrillo Hwy S., Half Moon Bay. Go to http://www.americaneagleevents.com. I'll be taking pictures of bikers participating in this event riding south of Alice's on Skyline. If you or a friend are going on this ride, check SkooterShooter.com on Monday, July 31, and I should have the pictures up.

Please tell your friends about SkooterShooter.com. I'll soon have some photos of the mugs, T-shirts and mousepads that are available with you and your bike on them.
